Ziplining on the Central Coast with Margarita Adventures

Margarita Adventures, near Paso Robles in the San Luis Obispo area of California, offers a family-friendly ziplining experience over vineyards at the stunning Santa Margarita Ranch.

WHO CAN GO: Guests must be between 30-275 lbs. For those under 100 lbs, they may need to ride tandem on a few of the ziplines. Guests also need to be able to do two short, moderate hikes to get between lines. They have had guests as young as 2 and up close to 100!

WHAT TO EXPECT: After getting checked in, there will be a short 5-10 minute drive to the starting point. Once you’re geared up and have undergone the brief safety demonstration, you’re ready to zipline! Expect a 2-2.5 hour tour around the historic Santa Margarita Ranch with many of the views coming from the ziplines! There are a total of six ziplines on the course plus a suspension bridge.

ZIP ‘N SIP PACKAGE: Looking for a fun adults-only activity (maybe for a birthday, anniversary or girls trip)? They offer a package which includes ziplining, wine tasting and a charcuterie board to enjoy. All guests must be 21+ for this tour.

OTHER OFFERINGS: Book a nature adventure tour in their vintage open-air Hummer, check out the majestic Bald Eagle on the Eagle Tour, join a Foraging Tour or take in the beautiful scenery on a Photography Tour. The Escape Room starts at $39 per person and is recommended for ages 8+ (max group of 8 people).

WHEN: You can zipline year round and even go if it’s raining. If you’re expecting inclement weather, dress accordingly so you can still enjoy the experience.

HOW TO BOOK: You can book your group online for the regular zipline tour, sunset zipline tour or the Zip 'n Sip Tour.
